Hello from the other side (Zeina side), welcome all to this week new post. This post is going to be about a city I think all of you know and want to visit ! it is the beautiful and the romantic city of Italy, Venezia! (with the Italian gesture).
This post is going to be for the solo travelers and for the people who’s traveling with their families. I mean some of us don’t have a cool partner to take to Venice for a dinner date (I feel you sisters). This post going to talk about the city itself, things to do and a cool, kinda forgotten city, Treviso.
Lets talk about transportation first how to get the REAL, rivery part. I am going to keep it very simple so you don’t get lost (cause we all got lost NO SHAME). Assuming you will arrive by a plane, you will need to take a bus to main station of trains then take a train to Venezia. Then YOU ARE HERE!
The question remains, whats special about Venice? I think the whole concept of the city is amazing, to live or to walk next to a water element is just so satisfying. When you start walking in this lovely city and its mini streets, I think at that time you will feel the beauty of Italy. I mean we all love Italians (ALL OF THEM) but the cities are just as beautiful as Italian men *cough*.
Things to do
First things first which means food! I mean you are in Italy the city of Pizza and Pasta (Oh lord), So sit in a restaurant near the amazing river and have a delicious pasta with lots of cheeses and garlic and enjoy the incredible view, life can’t get any better at that moment (unless you were able to eat another dish).
Second thing to do is the boat ride in Venezia! I know! as my brother said the boats are photogenic, every picture will look good (new profile picture maybe?). The downside is that it is very expensive (80 € – 100€ ride at the sunset) so meet a cool group and share the boat!
And Of course if you were lucky enough you will be there the Carnival of Venice which means dressing up, wearing cool masks and enjoy an Italian night in ITALY.
You can reach this city by a train from Venice main station which will costs almost 3€. This city is just charming. You will feel the same vibe as Venice with the rivers and the beautiful streets. So if you want a peaceful and a calm city with less tourists then this city is your guy. You can feel the beauty of this city in its simplicity, which we need it after a too busy day in Venice.
So do you like Treviso now? Give it a visit and send me pictures <3.
At the end, Thank you again so much for taking minutes of your day to read this simple post about this amazing city. Catch me on Facebook at The Zeina Diary for more cool stuff. Till next time.
P.S This was my brother trip not mine, But I sat with him for more than 2 hours just to get the emotions and the feelings that the city gave him. And he likes to talk a lot which is a bonus for me. Thank you Hasan.
